I have a gazillion list of things to do before the baby arrives. And I have 4 months, in fact, maybe around 2 is more practical since I guess by my eight even 7 month I’ll be big and tired and won’t want to be bothered with anything else. Who knows…Is it too early to start sorting out the nursery? Am I tempting faith? Hey t his is my first and while things are moving along pretty well (with the exception of 2 weeks ago when both my arms were so painful it felt like my hands were being ripped off my arms…I was MRI’ed for this, fearing a spinal nerve issue…thank god, nothing showed up), I am reminded with news/media/1st – 2nd hand stories that life is fragile. I pray, she’s fine and I’ll be a good mother. So perhaps we’re not procrastinating on the rooms mods, just deliberately trying to put it off till the last minute. Are we just protecting ourselves…or in denial that we are going to be responsible for the well being of this new born? That we will need to …grow up.
We’ve decided to retro-fit the nursery into our bedroom. Its big enough, afterall, our bedroom really looks like 2 rooms with its wall brought down.
This saturday, i thought, will be the day to face the neglect, denial call it what you want…the nursery. Since I’m so so free, can’t dive (which otherwise weekends will be occupied). So is Shrky since the dive club’s boat blew a gasket of something like that and is dry till the parts are replaced. Sunday, he goes diving. Its a big organised diving event this sunday in conjunction of EarthDay. Another one of those ‘how I wish I can…’ moments and my blood rushes through my veins like a 5* ride in a theme park. Poor Bindi (we just decided to nickname the babe since we can’t settle on a name), this hormonal fluxes can’t be great. It must feel like a heat wave.
‘How I wish’…I know everyday that Bindi is fine. In about 4 months, we’ll see her. 
Btw….happy 20th weeks to me, happy 20th weeks to me…(this friday to be specific)…and I felt that little flutter, finally!
